Yayla Osmancık Rice, a product of the Osmancık Region, makes tables rich in nutritional value. Since Osmancık rice is grained when cooked, it can be used with peace of mind in making pilaf.
Yayla Osmancık Rice, which has a low fat content and contains high phosphorus and manganese minerals, is preferred quite often. The first rule of making a grained, fragrant pilaf with Local Yayla Osmancık Rice is to wash the rice with plenty of water and remove starch. It is recommended to keep the rice in cold water for half an hour after washing and its water should be drained thoroughly before roasting. If you want to whiten the color of your pilaf, you can also add a few drops of lemon juice.
