It is the most well-known bulgur variety in Turkey and the world. It is an important and economical carbohydrate source rich in minerals, located at the base of the grain group nutrition pyramid. It is a very valuable nutrient, especially because it contains B group vitamins and stores mineral salts.

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, in a cloth bag if possible.
Cooking tip: Bulgur is a semi-cooked product. A small amount of water is enough to soften it. You can easily soften it by soaking it in hot water and use it in salads and meatballs without having to boil it.
